SUMMATIVES GRADES

70% with at least 3 in the grade book per quarter    (tests, a possible project to be decided each quarter and an INB test grade)

• One opportunity for re-take

• Must attend tutoring before re-taking

• Test corrections do not count as tutoring session

• Highest grade for re-take is 80%. Highest of the 2 is taken for final grade (between original and re-take)

• Re-takes have to be completed within a reasonable timeframe (within 5 days or so)

FORMATIVES GRADES

 30% with at least 10 in the grade book per quarter   (quiz, homework, or classwork)

• No re-takes for grade correction

• Students are not expected to have mastery yet, formatives are practices.

LATE WORK: 

•  Students who submit work after the due date will receive a 0 for the assignment.  

•  Students have an opportunity to submit work within 5 days to receive a grade, with 80% being the highest possible number of points possible

•  This does not affect absent students
